Projects
Open Insurance Platform
You plan to start your own insurance business?
This project provides you with a full-fletched core insurance solution.
The software covers the complete scope of business capabilities for the insurance industry across all lines of business and business models (B2C, B2B, B2B2C). It is an all-class system meaning that all insurance classes (like motor, life, health, property) and assistance services can be regulated with the same software. This makes the system functionally comprehensive and all-encompassing.

License Tool
LicenseScout
Having troubles with all the licenses in your open source project?
LicenseScout is a Maven Plug-in to identify third-party artifacts (libraries) and their licenses, in Java as well as JavaScript projects. The goal is to get an overview over the used licenses, and the artifacts for which no license could be detected. A proper output document is generated listing the used licenses and the corresponding license texts.
MergeProcessor
Merging multiple branches is an issue for you?
The MergeProcessor is a tool to automatically merge svn changes from one branch to another. One part of the MergeProcessor is running on the server the other one on the developers machine.

How we are organized
The Association for the promotion of open-source insurance software and for the establishment of open interface standards in the insurance industry (short: Aposin) was founded to promote international cooperation between the insurance and technology sectors.
Within this framework, we aim to create and disseminate open-source insurance software and establish open interface standards. The declared objectives of the Association also cover the promotion of exchanges of experience or cooperation between traditional and new market participants, as well as the invigoration of the open-source domain in the insurance sector. The Association’s activities are meant to exert a positive influence on the perception of open-source software as a high-quality alternative to commercial or proprietary software.
